How to plan a spectacular winter wedding

Getting married in the winter has its own pros and cons but if you are already having it, why not take full advantage of this magnificent cold season?

Splash some colors!

Just because you are having a winter wedding doesn’t mean you must have everything in white. Use bold and shiny colors to warm up the place and lift the spirit. Combine peach with forest green, plum and gold or red with blush for glamorous yet inviting celebration.

Stylish winter clothes

Knitwear, cute mittens, lovely boots and jumpers can only add fun and chic to your stylish photoshoot. Have your bridesmaids wear elegant shawls, cool leather jackets or fancy fur stoles to transform your wedding into a snowy fairy tale.

Warm gifts

Many guest’s wedding gifts are not practical but now you have an opportunity: Hand/ tow warmers, hot bottles, scarfs, cozy blankets, hats and funny mugs. Your guests will be sure to keep it for this winter and all the other winters to come.

Themed wedding

Frozen, The Nutcracker, Game of Thrones, Holidays, etc. this is a great opportunity for you to step up the wedding game and have a specular winter theme wedding and to go nuts with the planning, outfits and gifts. Your wedding will be unforgettable!

Comfort food

A great way to thank your guests for stepping out of their comfy beds at this time is to have them eat delicious heartwarming food to warm their bellies. Food such as soups, stews, hot chocolates cakes and siders. Set up festive hot beverage stations with coffee, sweet cocoa drinks and hot toddies.

Destination wedding

Why not run away with your guests somewhere white and beautiful? A wedding in an enchanted forest or a vintage cabin is both relaxing and fun. Feel up close to the beauty of the season and spend a wonderful time with our family and friends in the middle of nowhere.

Festive décor

All you need to make your winter wedding spectacular is some winter decoration: have cotton ball bouquets, colored pinecones and wreathes on the tables, use sparkling snowflakes and candles for when you walk down the aisle and wooden pecks as a sitting charts for the reception.
