How did he propose?
Matias organized a proposal in Banff, Canada, keeping it a surprise from Breanne the whole time. He convinced her a friend was organizing a tour for them, all the while he had hired a chauffeur to show them the sites in. During their drive, they reached a viewpoint in the mountains and Breanne was told to close her eyes. Matias snuck out of the car, with their dog Draper by his side, and got into position. Where he had a picnic and a photographer waiting in the mountains. Breanne emerged from the car, Matias got down on one knee and, of course, she said yes!

Tell us about your experience in the Boutique
I was visiting my maid of honor in Perth, Australia after my engagement. She organized a day of dress shopping for us at a few boutiques in the area. Our first appointment was at Bridal by Aubrey Rose, where we were met by a very friendly shop owner and bridal stylist.

What made you pick a RD dress?
She asked me a few questions about what I was looking for. I pictured myself wearing long sleeves (my wedding took place in the mountains in the middle of winter with snow and very cold temperatures) I quickly realized that the style I had envisioned for myself was all wrong for my body type! My stylist Bethany pulled the RD dress “Kathleen” off of the display. I was captivated by the sequin designs and beautiful off the shoulder sleeves.

How did you know it was “The One”?
When I put the dress on I immediately was brought to tears. In fact, everyone in the store was too! I knew this was my dress the moment I saw my maid of honor’s face. This was the 3rd dress I had ever tried on and for fun, I tried on 2 more but I was convinced Kathleen was the one! My maid of honor had quite the journey on her flight to Vancouver- she had her especially tucked away in the cabin closet by one of the flight attendants!
