elegant, and traditional! Our next RD bride Kavita’s got married in a gorgeous
London manor wearing our stunning ANYA gown
Due to
COVID the happy couple had to downsize the wedding and change the date numerous
times, but eventually our bride had the most stunning and meaningful wedding
day.
Being
a bride is full of exciting moments and joyful memories!
Where
(or how) did you discover Riki Dalal?
I was
walking with my best friend and had just tried on a bridal dress in a nearby
shop. We both looked through the window and just fell in love with some of the
dresses. We came in and luckily you managed to fit us in the diary for an
appointment. We LOVED this dress in the magazine and decided pretty quickly
this was the one. I had also seen Riki Dalal on Instagram.
Tell
us about your experience in the Boutique.
With only
a few weeks left till my wedding day, I was really impressed by the service at
Riki Dalal as they tried really hard to get everything ready on time.
What
made you pick out your dress?
We saw the
picture in the magazine and thought it was really unusual and princess like…
And How
did you know it was “the one” when you were wearing it for the first
time?
I felt
amazing wearing it!
Tell
us all about your wedding day!!!
It was a
stressful period running up to our wedding day and especially given COVID and
having to change our dates numerous times.
We
celebrated our Indian wedding day in London on Saturday August 29th. You will
see from the pictures I still have my Mehndi (henna) on my hands.
We then
had a magical wedding day on Monday 31st August with my closest friends and
family. Due to the circumstances, we scaled back massively from our original
plans and had a small ceremony at Moor Park Mansion Golf Club followed by a
reception party at my home. It was a beautiful day and some joy in these
difficult times. I really felt amazing wearing the dress!
Our
wedding day was perfect, I felt so grateful and happy to be marrying my best
friend.
Kavita

ballgown wedding dress with floral lace top with layers and layers of tulle that
make-up this divine skirt.
